Shaloo Savla has an MBA from Harvard Business School and is a CFA charterholder. He worked for over a decade in high-impact roles (Boston Consulting Group, Fidelity Investments, Wayfair, EverQuote, etc.) before launching this practice. He’s also a certified professional résumé writer and a certified career coach (with additional training in life coaching techniques). On top of that, he’s constantly learning – staying current on hiring trends, LinkedIn changes, and coaching methodologies. Yes! We offer a free initial strategy call for new prospective clients. This 15-30 minute call is an opportunity for us to learn about your needs and for you to ask questions about our services or approach. You’ll get a feel for Shaloo’s coaching style and we’ll determine which service (or combination of services) would serve you best. There’s no obligation – it’s truly about ensuring a good fit and giving you clarity on how we can help.
Sessions are typically conducted via Zoom video meetings. This allows us to work with clients all over the world. If you prefer phone or another platform, we can accommodate that too. For document-focused services (like resume writing), much of the work happens via email/Google Docs with scheduled calls as needed. We strive to communicate in whatever way is most effective and comfortable for you.
We accommodate clients across various time zones. Weekday evenings and Saturdays are available for those who work 9-5. We try to be as flexible as possible, because we know you’re busy. Once you sign up, we’ll find regular slots that work for your schedule. We also understand that things come up – we have a flexible rescheduling policy (just give us 24 hours notice when possible).
Yes. We want our services to be accessible, so for higher-priced packages (like the Complete Job Search Package or multi-session coaching programs), we can split payments into two or three installments. We accept credit/debit cards, PayPal, and Venmo. For corporate-sponsored coaching, we can also accept checks or bank transfers if needed. Just let us know your needs and we’ll figure out a solution that works.
Your satisfaction is our top priority. For deliverables like resumes or LinkedIn profiles, we offer unlimited revisions within 30 days. We will work on it until you’re happy. For coaching sessions, if after the first session you feel it’s not a fit, let us know and we can discuss a partial refund or alternative solution. We also set clear goals at the start of any engagement, so we’re always on the same page about what success looks like. While we can’t guarantee specific results (like “you will get X job”), we can guarantee we’ll deliver the highest quality of service and effort. If something isn’t right, we’ll make it right.
Absolutely. Many clients start with one service (say, resume writing) and then realize they’d benefit from interview coaching or a package. We make it easy to upgrade – often, we’ll credit what you’ve already paid toward the larger package. For example, if you purchase a resume service and later decide to get the Complete Job Search Package, you’d just pay the difference. We’re flexible and want to support you as comprehensively as possible.
It depends on the service. For a resume rewrite, the turnaround for the first draft is usually within a week, and the whole process (with revisions) might take 2 weeks. The Complete Package spans about 8 weeks of support. Coaching programs can vary from a single session to 3-6 months of ongoing coaching. We will outline the timeline before we begin so you know what to expect. If you have a tight deadline (like an application due or an interview coming up), let us know and we’ll adjust the timing to meet it if we can.
100%. We understand that job searches and personal growth journeys are sensitive. Anything you share with Created Futures stays with Created Futures. If we use your success as a testimonial, it’s only with your permission and we can anonymize it if you prefer. Rest assured, you can be candid and we’ll maintain your privacy.
Yes, we work with clients across a wide range of industries: healthcare, nonprofit, education, government, consumer goods, manufacturing – you name it. While Shaloo has special expertise in business, tech, and finance, the principles of good career marketing and coaching apply everywhere. We do our homework for any industry-specific nuances (and often have worked with someone in a similar field before). So unless your field is extremely specialized (in which case we’d be upfront if we’re not the best fit), we can absolutely help.
Certainly. We’ve worked with clients in Europe, Asia, and beyond. Just note that our expertise is strongest with US/Canada job markets (and resumes in English). That said, many principles are global, and LinkedIn is universal. We will adapt to any cultural or regional differences as needed. For instance, CV styles in Europe vs. US resumes – we can do either. Our communication will be virtual, so distance is not a barrier.
